Technology Committee
Purpose and Responsibilities:
To develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures relating to the management of all electronic technologies associated with UUSG, including professional relationships with suppliers, vendors, or partners. These technologies can include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Telecommunications
- Computer systems
- Audio /Visual systems
- Office equipment
- Communication technologies
- Information management
- General facility electrical system
To assure the proper operation and maintenance of the electronic equipment and systems.
To develop and implement project plans:
- Prepare specifications
- Develop project budget
- Obtain cost estimates
- Coordinate project installation
- Coordinate system training (if needed)
To develop and staff project teams intended to address specific technological needs.
- Identify needs
- Recruit / research team members and resources
- Develop plan and implement
