Peace Shawls

In 2007 & 2008, UUSG members created more than 20 peace shawls for Women4Women Knitting4Peace.

On July 6, 2008, the Rev. Dr. Lindsay Bates led the congregation in a ceremony blessing the shawls.

A UUSG Member delivered the shawls to Women4Women, which will distribute them, giving "hugs" to women and children throughout the world who are dealing with traumatic circumstances.
