Bill Pokorny, President

Began attending UUSG in: 2006
Became a Member: March 4, 2006
Involved in: Bill has served on the Board of Directors for four years, including three as Secretary and, currently, as President. Bill is also an advisor for our high school youth group and is active in Small Group Ministry and the Ministerial Internship Committee.


Doreen Christiani, Vice President—Program Council

Began attending UUSG in: 2008
Became a Member: May 30, 2009
Involved in: Doreen is active volunteering for Lazarus House and Feed my Starving Children, and is also on the Communications Committee.



Pam Tilbrook, Vice President—Administrative Council

Began attending UUSG in: Fall of 1996
Became a Member: January 19, 1997
Involved in: Pam is a Covenant Group leader and participates in the Simple Living Group.

Pat Ward, Secretary

Began attending UUSG in: 2000
Became a Member: June 3, 2001
Involved in: Pat’s been on the Finance Committee for about the last 8 years, the Board of Directors 2008-present, the inactive Heritage Committee (which is being revived) for about 10 years.



George Tattersfield, Treasurer

Began attending UUSG: right around 9/11
Became a Member: March 9, 2003
Involved in: George has been on the Finance Committee since joining and has been on the Board as Treasurer for 5 years, but not continuously. He likes being a Greeter and is the self-appointed lead bell ringer, along with his troop of little kids under 7 years old.



Jim O’Malley, Assistant Treasurer

Began attending UUSG in: 1984
Became a Member: October 27, 1985
Involved in: Jim’s been a member of the Finance Committee for many years and is also active in the UU Atheism/Humanism Study Group.
 


Don Brod, Director (2-year term)

Began attending UUSG in: 2005
Became a Member: March 5, 2006
Involved in: Don is a member of the Committee on Ministries and the Long Range Planning Committee. He is also a Worship Associate, participates in Small Group Ministry, and was a mentor in our Coming of Age Program.


Jenny Stewart, Director (2-year term)

Began attending UUSG in: 2003
Became a Member: June 1, 2003
Involved in: Jenny has taught two years of church school, been on two Internship committees, served on the Communications Committee, practices Reiki, worked the Pizza booth two summers in a row, donates cookies for the Cookie Walk, and was a Worship Associate.


Ben Walker, Director (completing his 2-year term)

Began attending UUSG in: Fall 2007
Became a Member: November 23, 2008
Involved in: Ben leads the Social Justice Committee’s Commit to Knit Program, teaches Religious Education classes, is a Worship Associate, participates in RSVP Volunteer Activities, sings in the choir, and lends us his beautiful voice at other times during worship services.

Barry Knerr, Director (1-year term)

Began attending UUSG in: 2000
Became a Member: June 15, 2009
Involved in: Barry attends worship services regularly and helped form the “Munch & Learn” lecture series, presenting the kick-off lecture.
